Oooo Vegas! Last time I was there I had way too much fun… all I’ll say is red carpets and flip flops and several thousand dollar a night rooms (yes… I’m bragging… ;))
Anyhoo, last night I got a rather unexpected invite to see the most A-MAZING show ever! My indeliable partners in crime, B-Ho and The Shouldice, invited me and my better half out to see STOMP! We arrived at the Elgin & Winter Garden theatre (and for those of you who’ve never been there, make any excuse to see this world reknowned early 20th century theatre) with about 10 minutes to spare and settled into our incredibly close seats. At the end of the show I turned to my girlfriend for a response and got nothing but a slack jawed stare… yes, it’s that incredible.
After the show we were fortunate enough to hang out with the cast and ask them the same questions they get about 323,000 times a day which they answered without a flinch. A truely great, interesting crowd they were (ooo.. look at me… I’m YODA!).
Tonight it’s home to try and assist in the making of my costume, which I must say will be unforgetable… I won’t tell ya what it is, but I’ll give ya a hint…
“Imperious, choleric, irascible, extreme in everything, with a dissolute imagination the like of which has never been seen, atheistic to the point of fanaticism, there you have me in a nutshell, and kill me again or take me as I am, for I shall not change.”
That there is a quote from the PERSONS last will and testament. Now THAT’S good stuff.
How ’bout you Jar-Jar… any all Hallow’s eve plans?

Kelly, you always make me laugh. Some brats in the punk scene are so concerned with being punk rock, that they aren’t. Same with hip hop. Same with any scene …
I’m on vacation next week. I can’t wait. Time for a recharge. Off to Vegas to visit my first best friend. You know, the first person you tell “you’re my best friend.” We even had those necklaces! She lives in Las Vegas (believe that!), and works there as a teacher. While in the sin city, I hope to score a ticket to O. Even if it’s at a scalper’s price.
To be con’t …. by Ryan!

Ooowee! Is it just me, or is it getting hella cold out? I always get sad when the winter comes along and it gets so dark out so early!
Been seeing a lot of Rock and Roll lately. Matt wasn’t lyin’, that Hot Water Music/Thrice show kicked ass! My fave part was when I was trying to climb on stage and everyone in the crowd saw up my kilt. Luckily I was wearing really dark opaque tights.Yep, I put the ass in class.
On the up side of things, I totally got my GNR tickets on Saturday. I’m soo excited. Axl is the King.
Speaking of authority…Jenn and I got the opportunity to meet Mayor McPunkrock and the punkaholic punk rockers on Sunday at the Closet Monster show! Ah…to be acknowledged is truly a rewarding experience.

Vice City - here I come!
Winona Ryder is scheduled to appear in court today to face those shoplifting charges. This story continues to interest me. Is that wrong?
While perusing the entertainment news this morning, I came across something on Yahoo!News that I found unbelievable. There is a section for slideshows, where a series of photos from an event are presented with info captions. The current featured slideshow is called, ‘Salma Hayek Slideshow.’ Acceptable. However, let me tell you what last week’s featured slideshow was: ‘Gwyneth Paltrow’s Father Dies Slideshow.’ There are many things wrong with this, but for now, let’s just pick one. Who was the copy editor that came up with that title?
Jarman are you excited for Buffy tonight? And when are “we” getting Vice City?

Well I just googled myself, and boy was I surprised to find that what came up (And no, that’s not me grabbing my crotch in the hockey equipment). Y’know what else I google? Countries. It’s been a while since I’ve travelled, and I miss it. I was reminded how much I love to travel when I bumped into Ian Wright in Kensington Market (I totally did the ‘Are you the guy…?’) then subsequently went to see him speak at The University of Toronto last night. Talk about travel stories, this guy’s got a million! And yes..he has the best job in the world.
My upcoming travel plans include heading to O-town to visit old High School friends, then to Mecca the following weekend to visit my best friend Jessica…Unless of course I somehow make it to Uniondale New York to go see The Distillers. A girl can dream can’t she?
all links in this blog were googled. ‘cept for The Distillers cuz I know that one real good.
Hey Ry, did you have a real good friday night?

Watching? You know - people, breakdance tapes, The Daily Show.
Why does this read like an Onion headline? Headline News hot
for hip hop phrases “In an effort to be sure we are as cutting-edge as possible with our on-screen persona, please refer to this slang dictionary when looking for just the right phrase,” reads an internal Headline News memo obtained by the Daily News.
Wanna go? googlefight.com Just type 2 opposite keywords. Jay Z vs. Nas. Nas takes it w/ 9 310 000 results! Jennifer Hollett vs. Rick Campanelli? Drat! Ricky wins by 70. Apples or oranges? Its an apple a day!
Kelly? Who do you google over?

Matty I know you’ve been too busy playing your ‘games‘ to be watching much television - and lemme tell you something, you’re not really missing anything.
Usually I quite look forward to the new TV season, when my ‘stories‘ are on again. And while the last 10 minutes of the Buffy season premiere were stellar, the rest of my stories have been somewhat boring.
There was clearly not enough ‘Jess‘ in the first episode of this season’s Gilmore Girls. How disappointing!
I might as well save myself the time and just check out the recaps on my favourite TV website, Television Without Pity.
Jenn, what are you watching?
