Gripe all you want about getting older. JustJared posted a fun exercise in old vs new, wherein most people actually look better when they’re not in their twenties. Granted, they’re all celebrities, with easier access to, you know…enhancements. See, Brad Pitt is a much hotter 40-something (or maybe it’s just the aerobitastic tank top and floofy hair that’s holding young Brad back). Look for Angelina Jolie - totally hotter now. Liz Hurley? No Vanessa Kensington back in the day. Teri Hatcher? No comment.
So what do you think? Naturally gorgeous or surgically “improved”? Stylistically challenged by 80s fashion?

Does anyone remember the show Hang Time? It was about this chick who played on a basketball team with a bunch of dudes. Cause she was THAT GOOD! Yes, between bouts of me being a bad ass teenager (cough), I used to watch this show once in awhile.
But, the age old question remains: where are they now? (Complete with updated photos).
Oh yeah, and remember the geeky yet somehow loveable kid from the flick About A Boy? Here he is now. Scroll down the comments section for more.
Today’s fun has been brought to you by the fine folks at How They Look Now, for all your updated C-list star needs.

Man, all I ever hear is bitch, bitch, bitch. We live in freaking Canada, get used to it winters are cold! Didn’t you know? Did you miss that freaking memo?
UGH! Anyway, two things you need to do in winter - one of them is dress warm, obviously. The second is, embrace the snow. Yes! Embrace it, you rockstar you! I went boarding on Saturday at a dinky little hill in southern Ontario and it totally kicked ass. I had such a great time. Just finding something challenging to do in the winter is so much fun: getting your gear ready, getting out there, falling, then getting back up to do it again. Getting better. Getting cold. Getting sweaty. Getting wet then cold again. Getting hot chocolate and over-priced poutine, then getting back to the lodge and hanging out in front of a fire for the rest of the evening.
Chicks and dudes, I love it so much. I encourage you to man-up and do it as well!
I wanna go so bad in fact that I’m gonna buy a new skateboard and find some sort of indoor park to play in right now…
On that note, it’s time to cash my paycheque. Easy peeps!

So I was 13 or 14, and I was reading one of those “The Magazine Not For Adults” - you know the one, it used to be Disney Magazine.
Anyway, the rag posed me this question:
Which new artist will still be popular in 10 years?
a) Sheryl Crow
b) Aaliyah
c) ?? (I forget)
At the time, I chose Aaliyah cause “Back & Forth” was my jam. But, unfortunately…well, you know. (Sad). Anyway, the moral of this story is that Sheryl Crow is still makin’ money and winnin’ fans and also: stoppin’ by Much and MuchMore tomorrow evening. Let’s all sing a round of “All I Wanna Do” and if you were 5 when that song came out…I guess that means my sweet, sweet flower of youth is gone.

I just checked out the VJ Search Blog and saw this entry, starring my brother. As Elvis. I’d like to point out that he made that costume with the help of my aunt.
Wendy’s brother for president!

Today we were all like, trying to do work when this program punched our nose with its unbelievableness. It was VH1’s Hip-Hop Honours, and if you’re a fan of hip-hop’s history, it’s a freakin’ MUST SEE. Even if you’re a new school fan, you still have to watch this sh*t, cause it’ll be on again.
The show honoured LL Cool J (hott), Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, Ice-T, Salt ‘N Pepa, Big Daddy Kane, Biggie and the movie “Boyz N The Hood”. The performances were insane - especially Salt N Pepa with (all four members!) of En Vogue, reunited and performing “Whatta Man” for the first time (with THE ROOTS as back-up band!) - and Big Daddy Kane’s set was just sick. Spectacular. Common, TI and Black Thought performed a medley before Kane hit the stage himself.
When Ciara came out with Nelly to do LL’s “Jingling Baby” and “Doin’ It”, I was like, “Bow Wow can’t handle that”. Seriously, are Ciara and Bow Wow mismatched or what?
Anyway, watch the show. Kane could teach these young’uns a thing or two about a thing or two.
PS: I know that’s a funny pic of LL. But I chose it cause it looks like he’s bustin’ a rhyme. Sorta.

While trolling the usual blog hotspots today, I uncovered this gem on the JJB board - pictures of paparazzi scoping out the best spot from which to capture a shot of Christina Aguilera’s wedding last weekend. This is absolutely nuts - I mean, a little overboard, dontcha think?
What’s funny is that there are pictures of the paparazzi taking pictures. Thankfully they were rewarded for a job well done with some decent photographs, which unless you’re a shut-in, you’ve surely seen by now.

Whooaaaa, dudes. America’s Next Top Model is satisfying all my drama needs thanks to the insane awesomeness of Bre on a rampage. Last night she just *cracked*, but Tyra kept her around for another day, ensuring that ANTM will continue to be fine TV viewing.
Don’t miss FourFour’s side-splitting recaps (new one should be up tomorrow), one more reason that it’s good to be alive. Seriously, FourFour cracks me the eff up.

No, guys. I mean it this time. Not like you care anymore, because Nick and Jessica are sooo far off the radar that it doesn’t even matter, but they’ve actually announced their separation.
Give it a month or two before one of them is engaged again. I’m betting on Jessica. I’m thinking that her career will never quite be the same as it was a year ago, but at least she won’t wind up on The Surreal Life season 8, like Nick. Ooooooo, burn.
Do you like how I used a tabloidy picture? I’ve learned the art from covers of Star Magazine.

Look, it’s what you’ve all been waiting for! Now you can go to this site called Let Them Sing For You, and through the wonders of technology hear jumbled soundclips sing your very own made-up lyrics! But why make up lyrics when you can use pre-made and extra hilarious ones from Hi-Five?
For real though, it’s almost unlistenable. The program doesn’t recognize the word “marinate”, so half the fun is lost right there. At least it’s worth a couple minutes of ok entertainment.
