* Jesse McCartney awkwardly pretends to crush on Miley.
* Pssst, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, you’re supposed to get into costume after you’ve arrived on set, not before.
* Audrina Patridge has joined the blog-o-sphere! (No explanation mark needed I guess.)
* Lucy Walsh (my favourite contestant on Rock The Cradle) has officially recorded a version of Don Henley’s Heart of the Matter. Both song and music video are apparently coming soon.
* Heidi Klum with Elmo? Could that BE any cuter?!
* And finally, Conan shows us that China has the best signs ever.

Chris and Jonny from Coldplay just ’strawberry swung’ by MOD for a sit down interview. The boys are in town for 2 totally sold out concerts at the ACC and NO I can’t get you tickets!
Matte and Leah were at the show last night, and gushed about the multiple stages, performance… and … uh … balls?
Watch the interview on MuchAXS! And check out some exclusive snaps below:

There are certain shows I watch that I know will always come through with the gold. Gold is that combination of being entertained/appalled. Family Guy. AC360. The Daily Show. Last night I was curled up on my couch and Jon Stewart set up this clip. Yes guys and dolls: Retro MuchMusic. It filled my heart with hope to know that one day, if I work hard enough, I too could be mocked by the best.
Hope you all are well,
h

* GASP! Could it be true?! Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling back together?!
* Mary-Kate or Eddie Vedder? You decide.
* Speaking of the Olsens, check out the covers for their new coffee table book, Influences.
* Australian hipster Sam Sparro is writing music for LiLo. His album is good, her’s usually aren’t. Let’s hope Sparro brings the magic.
* Posh to enter the world of High School Musical 3…?
* And finally, I’m all for Disney returning to their old-school animation (excited, in fact), but will The Princess and the Frog be as questionable as it seems?

Holy eff you guys, just over a week ago I spent 13 minutes interviewing Nat, Nic, Chrys and Tiff (yeah, I use their short names, we’re tight like that), aka My Fave Group Of ‘08, aka Girlicious, and FINALLY (after some terrifying technical difficulties), here it is! I cut it into parts for your selective viewing pleasure.
And OMG, just wait for the part where Natalie calls me out on my Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious blogs… and I’m like, “a-blah duhh mlah mlah buh”, and she’s all, “it’s cool, it’s cool”. Aaaaah!!!!!
PART 1
My “Like Me” ringtone goes off (people at work love my ringtone, let me tell you), then they talk about the new album a bit… (camera a little shaky to start because I think my hands were a bit shaky)
(YouTube link)
PART 2
Talking about “Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious” a little bit …
PART 3
The ladehs show us their self-created SNL skit, we ask if they were portrayed fairly on the show, and then - OH NOES - Nat calls me out for being a snarky blogger!! Omagawwww.
PART 4
Tiffanie talks about her portrayal on the show and I couldn’t help but wonder… have they ever had to explain “Like Me” lyrics to any older/younger relatives?
Yessssssssss!

After years of waiting, chomping at the bit and frothing at the mouth, it’s finally here: a brief so-and-so of what happened when Kat & I went to Pemberton on the weekend! And say hello to Lauren Toyota, our west coast correspondent/host of Going Coastal! Aaaaand I’m spent.

* Ne-Yo has teamed up with the New Kids On The Block (yes, that’s right) for a lil’ single called, well, Single. Now I’m not hating on either New Kids or Ne-Yo, but from what I’ve heard of the song, both have done better work.
* Johnny Depp loves his fans but he is not a fan of that stinkin’ paparazzi, that’s for sure.
* Speaking of paparazzi, have they finally left Britney alone?! They are suddenly turning their back on Brit Brit because she is now sane and therefore “boring.”
* Kanye TV? Hm, could be good…
* OMG! Shoes! (Courtesy of Fergie Ferg Ferg).
* And finally, by way of BestWeekEver, the Big Brother 10 Earthquake Survival Rule #1: Take Shirt Off. Natch.

So I was at the mall the other day, killing some time during an (extended) lunch break. It was a beautiful day and the sun was shining through the glass ceiling of the Eaton Centre as I was riding up the escalator.
I was just lil’ ol’ me minding my own business and I looked behind me and who do I see? Mr. David “Idol Runner-Up” Archuleta.
Granted, it’s not that big of a deal (I see celebs in the halls of MuchMusic all the time), but it was unexpected. He was just standing there smiling, surrounded by a gaggle of girlfriends.
Well lil’ Archie vlogged about Toronto. And what did he have to say? …Not much actually. The kid’s undeniably sweet, but c’mon, some actual insight on something important or relevant would be nice. I’d love to hear what David Archuleta ACTUALLY thinks about pop culture or current affairs, without his allegedly creepy stage dad watching his every move.
I appreciate the nice things he had to say about Toronto though.

The Killers performed a last minute show last night at the Highline Ballroom in New York City where they DEBUTED TWO BRAND NEW TRACKS.
I’ve been searching everywhere for good quality versions of these mysterious songs, but all I’ve found so far is what a bunch of douches at the concert with cameras upload to YouTube - some of them are surprisingly decent quality vids. If anything, they’ll give you a little taste as to what’s on the way from The Killers. The songs are good (sounding very much like classic Killers - no risks here!), but I do prefer Spaceman over Neon Tiger.
Have a listen before they are yanked!

* The teaser trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has hit the Hogwarts interweb!
* People Magazine has won the bid for the Brangelina twins’ pictures for the lofty sum rumoured at $15 million buckaroos! (Apparently the money is going to charity though… the charity of SOJA!)
* Jesus has been found! (In Cheeto form.)
* Which male TV personality was spotted weeping in a dollar store? Dammed if I knew.
* Even though Shia LaBeouf was drunk, his DUI crash was not his fault…? What the…
* And finally, for all you Point-Of-View horror film buffs, “Put down the camera!”
