So, since I died during MOD today, this is the ghost of Wendy reporting. Appropriate, cause it’s Halloween. The reason I died is cause Jay-Z was here to chat with Sarah, along with Mr. Handsome Pharrell and his revamped N*E*R*D lineup, Wale and J. Cole. And now I’m going to see the concert, suckaaaas. So anyway, here are some pics!!
Update: watch the full interview now!
Check out the concert review and pics HERE.

ELISE: Jury! Have you made your decision?
Dini: have we jury? Yes your honour, we most certainly have. We the jury have found you, Donatella Versnatchy, guilty of wearing less lipgloss than your date and having the sex appeal of a pterodactyl.
DAVID: is she talking to me?
Dini: silence! Do not sass me in this court young man, I will not stand for it.
DAVID: I just thought…
Dini: shut it! Take a visit to shutty town and stay there! Thank you. Ps Donatella versnatchy, I would like to know, who taught you to dance, heidi Montag? I don’t need an answer. Its your turn, gerkin tinybulch. We find you guilty of not getting nicci drunk enough to like you. And for doing a very adult dance in children’s underwear. The jury fully decided to award you, bootleg tim deegan the $500, but then you sassed me. So guess what, if you want the money you’re going to have to get naked for it. That includes taking off the pickle panties. Now, what will it be?
DAVID: f&%$ it, I don’t give a shit. Lets go.Is anyone going to throw down a beat?
Dini: we don’t throw down beats in this court room. Disrobe immediately.
DAVID: are you sure? Ok. Like this?
DAVID DISROBES…
DAVID: shit. Ok I’m gonna have to fold on this one
Dini: give the camera a moon.
DAVID MOONS THE CAMERA
DAVID: is that good?
Dini: its great! I’m surprised you went that far, I was only kidding with you the $500 is yours, David.

Some of y’all might be tearing the town up tonight, but I’ll be planted firmly on my couch with MINIMUM 3 scary movies - ones I’ve never seen before! Here’s what I’m thinking of renting: Drag Me To Hell, [REC] and… Hocus Pocus. Ok, I know that one’s not scary, but it’s essential Halloween viewing. Also, it made Kate cry when she was a Brownie. Anyway, what would you rent if you were in my shoes? I don’t do gore well (no Saws, no Hostels please - however, I will watch ANY zombie movie) - but what would you recommend?
Happy Halloween weekend - and remember, don’t lose cell phone reception!!
FourFour, you crazy genius, you’ve done it again!!!!!

Soulja Boy Tell’em will be guesting on the upcoming albums by both Rihanna and Chris Brown.
In an interview with MTV News, the rapper revealed that he has contributed raps to each of the former couple’s albums.
As far as taking sides, Soulja Boy seems impartial. He didn’t hold back on sharing his feelings towards Brown though, saying, “I got nothing but love for Chris, that’s my homeboy.”

Day 10 – Thursday, October 29
The Silence Has Ended … With a Press Release
Today is the day that I’ve been waiting for. Now I’m finally allowed to talk about my job at MuchMusic. It’s been a surreal time so far and I can’t wait for the rest. So far the response has been overwhelming & I thank everyone who has followed me on Twitter, joined my Facebook Fan Page & commented on my Blog. I filmed a little segment today about myself that you’ll be seeing soon, hopefully; it’s about where I’ve lived in Toronto since I’ve moved here from Vancouver in December. So many great memories and I really do hope I give the right impression with this first preview into who I am! Right now as I am writing this, I am also prepping for my first on air segment going live on Monday morning at noon with VideoFlow.
So since I’ve been silent the last few days, I thought I’d give you a short recap of the events that have been going on in This Life as a MuchMusic VJ when I last left off at Day 2.

Midterm time is a busy period for students. There are a lot of sleepless nights, a great deal of stress and headaches, and a nice pile of dishes in the sink that you know you’ll get to tomorrow. Professors place due dates one after the other, and as much as you keep telling yourself that you’ll work ahead, cram sessions are pretty much guaranteed.
The solution?
Go see Jay-Z live. Duh.

Don’t expect to add the new This Is It to any stockings this Christmas.
Sony was hoping to have a DVD on store shelves in time for the lucrative Christmas shopping season. However, the studio has pushed back its release to early 2010 in order to keep the theatre chains happy.
Studios and theatres typically operate on a 90-day window between theatrical and DVD release. Sony was hoping to rush This Is It but theatre owners protested.
This Is It has been a cash cow so far, bringing in more than $20 million in its first day.
