$3 Million could have bought you a part of Katy Perry

Serena and Blair aren’t the only ones who get to live in swanky New York City apartments. Actual stars like Katy Perry can afford to live in them – and sell them for millions. Katy Perry has just sold her two-bedroom penthouse in TriBeCa for three million dollars. The spot was meant to be the first home for Perry and ex-husband Russell Brand, but since their fourteen month marriage dissolved late last year the space has been unused by the couple and now is proudly owned by someone else. Katy recently was spotted at Coachella with a new beau so perhaps the next New York apartment isn’t so far off.

Katy Perry was recently announced as MuchMusic’s first MMVA performer! The 2012 MMVAs will be taking place on Sunday, June 17. Her appearance will come days before her 3D movie, Katy Perry: Part Of Me comes out on the fourth of July weekend and you can watch the trailer here.
