The annual iHeartRadio festival took place in LA over the weekend and showcased performances from some of the biggest artists in pop music (check out our list of the Top 5 performances).
The music was great and the fashion was even greater. Actually, it was really weird and odd and in some cases must have been extremely painful to remove, but that’s just how we like it. Here are our fave five artists who tried to make their outfits work at the iHeartRadio festival.
5. Jason Derulo
Much like his shirt, Jason Derulo’s pants are also in utero and not quite big enough to be worn by the pop singer.
Drake may be one of the greatest rappers in the game, but that doesn’t mean he feels confident all the time. Worried that he may not deliver on his iHeartRadio performance, Drake donned a shirt with Jaden Smith’s reaction to Drizzy’s 2013 MTV VMA performance to remind fans that he is an excellent performer…just in case he sucked this weekend. FYI – he didn’t.
3. Avril Lavigne
Avril Lavigne is super rock and roll. She has tattoos! She has crazy eye make up! She has streaks of gold on her face! She has a studded cuff! She’s got feathers! She’s wearing a Ramones shirt! She has a million dollars of diamonds on her fingers that aren’t from Forever 21! Wait, that last one wasn’t so rock and roll.
2. Katy Perry
I love when Katy Perry takes fashion risks and wears super crazy and fun outfits, but I frankly don’t know what’s going on here. Is this her take on anime? Schoolgirl meets dominatrix meets boxer in training? Why must beautiful people spit on their lucky genetics?
1. Miley Cyrus
This is Miley Cyrus covered up.
This is Miley Cyrus less covered up.
This is how Miley Cyrus wears a mic pack while nearly naked. Colour me impressed.
