8 Young Adult Adaptations You Need to Watch Out For

July 31st, 2014

Books have always been a form of source material for Hollywood. Movie executives will often take a popular book turn it into a move and make millions of dollars. Fans of a book will almost always pay to see the movie adaptation, no matter how bad it is. But young adult novels have perhaps the most loyal and die-hard fans. Young adults love their teen novels. Just look how popular Harry Potter, Twilight, and The Hunger Games have been. But with two of those series over and The Hunger Games coming to an end, there seems to be a void of YA novel movies in Hollywood. Sure, Divergent can take over for The Hunger Games, but what happens after that? Which two teen characters are we supposed to ship? Can the world function without a new love triangle for us to take teams? Well luckily for humanity, Hollywood has heard our cries for help and has a whole slew of YA novels their turning into movies for us to fangirl over. Better start reading these books now. No one wants to be one of those basics who reads the book after the movie comes out.
