Justin Bieber has scored a victory after a woman, who took legal action accusing him of being responsible for her eardrum bursting at his concert in Portland, Oregon on July 14, 2010, decided not to pursue the case any further.
A source told gossip website TMZ.com that Stacey Betts filed documents last week asking to dismiss her case, in which she was seeking $9 million in damages, because she didn’t have a lawyer and felt it was impossible to move forward with legal proceedings.
But Stacey still believes in the merits of her case, which she filed after attending a concert with her daughter in 2010 and claimed the 18-year-old Canadian singer incited his fans into such a frenzy that the volume of their screams left her with permanent hearing damage. The case was dismissed on the same day as Stacey filed her documents.
I guess she doesn’t have the Fever.
