These days EVERY video we play has a million featured artists attached to it. I guess there IS power in numbers. The team here at New Music Videos have got to thinking, and we have some crazy collabs of our own we’d like to see. You never know… if we put these dreams out in the universe they just might come true.

Kathleen’s Idea: Jay-Z, Jay Electronica & Willow
Jay-Z just signed Jay Electronica and Willow to Roc Nation which I think is amaze-balls. With all that confidence we’re pretty sure Willow can play with the big boys, Hov. This trio is an obvious musical match made in heaven that needs to happen now. My brain will explode.

Elvis’ Dream: Lady Gaga & Morrisey
Check out Gaga and Morrisey who’ve been spotted hanging out. I nearly wet my pants when I found this out. Despite the fact Morrisey thinks meat is murder, apparently the two are big fans of each other. If a somber ballad collaboration didn’t come out of this friendship it would be a travesty.

Lauren’s Dream: Simian Mobile Disco & Lady Gaga
If you’ve seen Simian Mobile Disco’s new video for “Sweetbread” than you get why Lady Gaga would be an appropriate feature artist for SMD. They both love meat! In fact, I think they need to get a hold of her, do a remix called “Sweetmeat” and have a new video where the butcher hacks Gaga into pieces and throws her in the ocean. Oops, I’ve been watching too much Dexter. Anyway, I’m sure they would come up with something cool.

Manny’s Dream: Rick Ross & Lykke Li
I would love to see Rick Ross and Lykke Li collaborate. Lykke covered Ross’ “Hustlin” a few years back, so I’m sure they would both be down.

Jessica’s Dream: Jack White & Lauryn Hill
Jack White has made a hobby out of making incredible albums for iconic solo female singers; see Loretta Lynn and Wanda Jackson. Also, he has experience dealing with reclusive musicians like Lauryn. His White Stripes partner Meg White has essentially not performed since they had to cancel their tour in 2007 because of her acute anxiety. Plus, I just really love them both. That should be a good enough reason, right?

Phoebe’s Dream: Justin Bieber & Eminem
Why not put two white rappers together? Has it been done? Is it a stretch to call Justin a rapper?

Brian’s Dream: Snoop Dogg & Justin Bieber
Come on, this would just be either amazing right out of the gate, or so strange and bad, it instantly becomes amazing. Picture it: Snoop’s too-cool-for-school charisma, surrounded by smoke, rapping about how amazing he is in bed coupled with Justin Bieber’s smooth vocal stylings and oh-so-innocent lyrics about teen love. It’s a surefire hit! If only for the meeting of two iconic hairstyles! Corn rows meets glorious bangs! The thing is, something like this isn’t too out of the realm. Snoop will guest with just about anybody (Hi, Katy Perry!) and JB’s already developing his rap alter ego Shawty Mane. Hmmm… maybe I should be careful what I wish for…
