Katy Perry, is there anything you can’t do? She’s already been in headlines for her romance/engagement with Russell Brand, planning her bachelorette with Rihanna, pumping out two smash hits for summer (California Gurls & Teenage Dream), posing nude for her album cover, and arriving in an ice cream truck at the MMVAs.
Now, she’s asking all the men in the world “are you brave enough to let me see your peacock?”. Making its debut at the 2010 MTV Stage Show in Malaysia, Katy Perry performed a new track from her album, titled “Peacock”.
She chatted about the song with Entertainment Weekly, and made a point of saying, “I’m hoping it will be a gay-pride anthem. Peacocks represent a lot of individuality…. It’s not just like, ‘I wanna see your bulge.”
This should be no surprise coming from the same woman who banned all straight men from her set when she was posing nude for her album artwork.
You can check out a sneak peak of the performanceHERE, plus check out her other summer anthems on her artist profile.
What do you think of the song?
