It’s actually dangerous

The #IceBucketChallenge is the latest viral sensation and we are loving it! Intended to raise awareness and money for ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease, the challenge was created by Massachusetts man Pete Frates, who has been living with ALS for two years.
The idea of the challenge is to pour a bucket of ice water over your head and then nominate someone to do the same within 24 hours. If the person declines, they must donate $100 to ALS research, with the hope that people will do both.
The movement has quickly gone viral and already raised $5.5 million dollars compared to $32,000 last year. Celebrities are getting in on the action and uploading videos of the icy challenge. Let’s take a look at the different ways one can raise awareness for ALS and freeze their buns.
Shameless actress Emmy Rossum had good foresight, opting for a bathing suit.
Fault In Our Stars actor Ansel Elgort was a good sport about the #IceBucketChallenge and performed the task with speed and fear.
Much like ‘The Bikini’, ‘The Bathtub’ also shows excellent foresight from Elizabeth Banks.
Mark Zuckerberg nominated some big names in his #IceBucketChallenge, which was probably a welcome distraction from dealing with the new Facebook Messenger App.
The Group Challenge
What’s better than supporting charity on your own? Doing with a big group of friends.
The Five Stager
Kudos to Demi Lovato for dumping not one, not two, but five buckets of ice water on her head.
The Brain Freezer
Watching Blake Shelton and Adam Levine trying to think of names to nominate after being doused with ice water is like a lesson in brain freeze.
The Cool Guy
Only freaking Justin Timberlake can look that cool (pun intended) after pouring a bucket of ice water over his head.
Finally, there’s ‘The Coif’. Even the mighty orange coif of Conan O’Brien was no match for a bucket of ice water.Tweet
