A man has been arrested for trespassing at Taylor Swift’s home. Fan Jacob Kulke, 24, was caught on the grounds of the Red hitmaker’s property in Nashville, Tennessee, in the early hours of Friday morning after travelling from Wisconsin to spend the day with Taylor, who was not at the property, for her 23rd birthday, TMZ reports.

Security spotted Jacob and detained him until the police arrived at 1.45am, where he told them he was “the boyfriend of the homeowner”. He reportedly continued to tell police he had spoken to someone at Taylor’s home via social media before hopping on a bus to see her after her birthday, which was on Thursday.

Jacob has been arrested and is being held on a $10,000 bond, and it has been reported he has a criminal past of battery, disorderly conduct and possession of drugs in his hometown of Wisconsin in 2010. Taylor has been in the UK for the past week with her boyfriend, One Direction star Harry Styles.

Taylor’s friend Justin Bieber has also had a scary week after two men were arrested for planning to kill the Canadian singer and members of his entourage.
