I heart Stars, the Montreal-based indie band that has garnered quite the following all over North America. My all-time favourite songs of theirs are “One More Night,” “Your Ex-Lover Is Dead,” and “Heart.” Their lyrics, vocals and music meld together so perfectly that I get affected in different ways, no matter how many times I give them a listen. I’ve been known to have their albums on repeat, again and again and again. So imagine my excitement that they have a new album coming out! Apparently the full album isn’t out until September, however you can hear one of the first tracks right here! I’ve had it on repeat all day, and it is totally satisfying my Stars hunger. Enjoy!

UPDATE: Apparently due to some illegal leaks of the new album, Stars is now offering the album for sale online TODAY! Or you can wait until September to get the actual CD…

UPDATE SQUARED: The stars are aligning my friends and things just get better and better… Stars are performing at V-Fest Toronto happening Sept 8th & 9th! Woohoo! Remember to check into muchmusic.com closer to the concert dates ‘cuz we’ll have all the mad deets, yo!
