A$AP Mob – Lord$ Never Worry (mixtape)

After the OFWGKTA explosion, the world has been waiting for the next big rap collective to spring from the underground. Young Money and Def Jam/G.O.O.D. Music have covered the radio (with the occasional MMG release). Coming from the underground, rap collectives like Black Hippy and the A$AP Mob are great stories and often launch two more or more potential stars. While A$AP Rocky seems to be launching the success of the A$AP Mob, rather than the other way around, they still fall into the category of ‘a promising group of young hopefuls.’ A$AP Ferg and Ty Beat$ stand out as great prospects for mainstream success. Danny Brown, AraabMUZIK and, newcomers, the Flatbush Zombies highlight the guest appearances. With A$AP Rocky’s debut record pushed back to halloween, this tape will have to tide fans over for a little while.
