This is no ordinary America’s Best Dance Crew recap! Not only do we have the secrets behind Blueprint Cru’s awesome-ness, we also have the playlist for next weeks show, before anyone else! Don’t miss all the goodies, plus some mayjah spoilers, after the jump!

This week the crews had to battle it out while incorporating moves from famous music videos into their routines. Six crews were announced throughout the show as being safe from elimination as a result of receiving the highest amount of votes from viewers. The bottom two crews had to perform their best for the judges and wow them enough to stay in the competition.

Poreotixs and Jungle Boogie were announced as the first crews safe from elimination as a result of at home voters.

Poreotix performed to Rihanna’s Umbrella and JC said that the routine was fun but there was nothing complicated about it, and pointed out moments when the crew was not together on their timing. Lil Mama loved the way the crew incorporated the video into their costumes, and Omarion wished the crew had brought their routine to life more.

Jungle Boogie boogied their way into next weeks show and danced to Shakira’s Anything You Want. Lil Mama was impressed by the artistry of Jungle Boogie and Omarion wants to rock with female member Raqi.

Static Noyze and Saltare were the next crews announced as safe.

Static Noyze was given the task of incorporating the shopping carts used in Little Boot’s New in Town (check our a review of Little Boots new album and listen to the entire album in our Fresh Spins section). Omarion said he wanted the crew to use the carts in a more creative way, but liked the performance overall. JC said that he thought Xzibit had dropped by and pimped out the carts for the crew. JC also said he felt like he was actually watching the video while he watched the routine.

Saltare had the task of keeping up with Metro Station’s Shake It. The group’s performance was filled with mistakes and JC said that he was impressed that they were able to work through their ‘car crashes’ and keep going. Omarion said that he still respected how good the group is and to make sure they don’t get tangled up in their ropes again.

Heavy Impact and Hype 5-0 were the last two crews to automatically advance to next weeks show.

Heavy Impact showed what they got to Colby O’Donis’ What You Got. Lil Mama said that the crew definitely stepped up their game from last weeks episode. JC said that the routine was okay and he and Omarion were both disappointed with the group’s attempt at popping.

Hype 5-0 had to dance to the sexy video 3 by Britney Spears. Lil Mama complimented the two female crew members on bringing the hair and sex appeal that Britney is known for. JC liked that the crew used the entire stage in their performance and Omarion said that he felt like he was at a Britney concert.

Royal Flush and Blueprint Cru were the two remaining crews left to battle for their spots.

Royal Flush danced to Cascada’s Evacuate the Dancefloor and incorporated card tricks into their routine. Lil Mama thought the crew was clean and tight and had a good performance. JC liked that the crew came out with their battle faces on.

Blueprint Cru had the difficult task of performing a song by one of the judges, Omarion’s I Get It In. The crew lived up to the task, but fell short in one spot when two of the members bailed on a handstand.

In the end, the Montreal crew pulled through! Aw yeah Blueprint! I’m starting to get pretty nervous for our Canucks. Voting for ABDC is not open in Canada, which means that Blueprint has to perform well enough to sway voters away from choosing their local (relatively speaking) favourites to vote for a crew from a different country. Blueprint Cru has been picked as an early favourite by blogs, but will they be able to hold onto their momentum? For all of our lovely American readers I have put together a list of why Blueprint is the shizznit and worthy of your votes.

1. Hair. The crew match their hair to their performance every week, including crew member Derek “Derty” Rice cutting his hair to match Omarion’s for this weeks performance. Now that is dedication!

2. Shoes. Make sure you keep an eye on the crew’s shoes. Each week the crew colour their shoes to match the rest of their outfits. They know the judges are watching their feet, so you gotsta have some flavour down below!

3. Accents. Who doesn’t love a French accent? Check out this video of Blueprint Cru being interviewed last week by World of Dance.com. Vincent pronounces characters like cactuers. Hawt!

4. Canadian. We are the world’s nicest people. If it was up to us, Americans, we would vote for you! :)

On next weeks show the crews will be battling it out to Lady Gaga’s musical collection! The set list has yet to be confirmed and could change, but we were able to get our little hands on the possible line up. Shhhhsssss…this blog could self destruct in three minutes if this list gets out!

• Blueprint Cru: Bad Romance
• Heavy Impact: Lovegame
• Hype 5-0: Poker Face
• Jungle Boogie: Video Phone
• Poreotix: Paparazzi
• Saltare: Just Dance
• Static Noyze: Beautiful Dirty Rich
