Even more than her alter ego Sasha Fierce, even more than her killer video for “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”, even more than her terrific appearance on SNL this past weekend, people are talking about the hand. You know. Beyonce’s Terminator hand, the one that she’s been showing off with much aplomb, the one that deep inside, I know controls something (or someone) somewhere.

Anyway, what’s up with it? It’s not like the robot hand is the official costume of her party-time alter ego Sasha Fierce, cause B has worn it while performing the ballad “If I Were A Boy”. Turns out this bad boy was designed by Lorraine Schwartz, who also designed Beyonce’s $5 million, 18-carat diamond wedding ring - who knows what the hand cost. With the frequency she’s been wearing it, I guess she wants to get her money’s worth. I just hope she doesn’t come to rely on it for her onstage fierceness … *gasp* what if the GLOVE CONTROLS HER?!
