The king of covers

Maroon 5 have been working hard on their new music as well as their political voice. They and other bands were called some choice words, namely “f–kwits,” by musical legend Elton John after they boycotted Arizona in protest of the state’s immigration restrictions. “That’s also thinking too deeply on it, you know what I mean? Its something that can be easily dealt with,” lead singer Adam Levine told MuchMusic. “And by the way it is being dealt with. It’s being changed. Someone is going to judge us for doing this just because we were kind of influenced to do it by people we really respect honestly.”
The band released an awesome, and yes violent, new video for “Misery” and have a new album, Hands All Over, out September 21. “I like to pretend I’m really tough in music videos. I’m actually a giant p–sy,” Levine said. “I have a secret hankering to be an action star.” Check out what else they had to say below.Tweet
