Adele confirmed to sing the new James Bond theme song

Skyfall marks the 50th anniversary of the Bond series and who better to record the theme song for the upcoming film than British songstress Adele!

The singer, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Simon Konecki, has confirmed that she has recorded the theme song, also called Skyfall, for the new film after rumours flew around when the she was spotted going into London’s Abbey Road Studios earlier this month. That is where the soundtrack was being recorded.

Adele will join a reputable list of artists who have recorded Bond theme songs including Madonna, Paul McCartney, Tom Jones and Duran Duran.
