It sounds like even Adele is getting a little tired of hearing her amazing tracks from 21 and is ready for new material. The UK singer has announced that she will be releasing new music in 2012, though fans will have to wait at least two years for a full album.
While being interviewed on French radio station NRJ, Adele confirmed that she will have a new single out by the end of the 2012, adding to the speculation that the rumours surrounding Adele’s involvement in the theme song for the new James Bond film Skyfall are true.
In the interview, Adele also explains that her albums take longer to complete because she is the sole writer, saying “If I didn’t write my own songs, I’d be out next week with a new album.” Adele also told the radio station that her ideal duet partner would have been the late Etta James, but that she would still love to work with Beyonce, who Adele has been a fan of since she was eleven.
