AJ and Aly Michalka to appear together on Hellcats

It looks like there’s going to be another hot blonde Michalka sister on Hellcats! AJ Michalka is set to join her sister Aly, who plays Marti on the hit cheerleading show, in a recurring role. AJ will be playing a character who becomes friends with Marti and bonds with the head cheerleader over their musical interest.
The sisters, who in real life formed the group 78violet, will be performing together on the show. Hellcats has already seen performances by a solo Aly Michalka, Ashley Tisdale, who plays Hellcats captain Savannah, and most recently Fefe Dobson.
AJ Michalka’s character has not yet been named, but is expected to appear in several episodes. Fans of the hit show are already familiar with 78violet, who perform the Hellcats theme song.
