Have you heard the one about Daryl Hannah in the walnut tree?

Let me explain.

Daryl Hannah, aka my Kill Bill evil hero, showed her support for squatting farmers in LA by climbing a tree during a police raid and refusing to budge. Eventually she left her post o’ martyrdom and safely returned from whence she came (watch the video!). No wait – she was arrested. But only for seven hours.

The best part of this whole thing is the spin-off on the Daily Show last night, wherein “They are going to forcibly remove actress Daryl Hannah from the walnut tree” was concluded to be just a tad bit less strange than hearing Sam Jackson exclaim, “Get these motherf**king Daryl Hannahs off the motherf**king plane!” (View the rest of the “Unlikely Sentences Involving Daryl Hannah”!)

I would just like to note that one-eyed assassin Daryl Hannah is my hero, not tree-climbing humanitarian Daryl Hannah. Does that make me a bad person? Ok, fine.
