I swear, I’ve got a crush on Alicia Keys. That’s allowed right?!?! Gawd, she’s STUNNING, talented, and in an age where poptarts are leaving a lot to be desired, Alicia remains true to the one category that we all can’t help but admire: the category of class.

Anyways, if you couldn’t tell already, I’m a rampant fan, so you can only imagine how excited I was when I found out that she’s going on tour, and that she’ll be making a couple stops in Canada.

Unfortunately she’s only got two Canadian concert dates scheduled as of yet, but for anyone who’s planning on being in Toronto or Montreal in June, tickets are already on sale and the dates are as follows:

Montreal (Bell Centre)
Tuesday, June 3

Toronto (Air Canada Centre)
Thursday, June 5

Now you guys know how Matte-B is notorious for his ‘rapid fire’ questions on MOD? Well I’m borrowing the idea and giving you a quick rapid fire list of a few things you may not have known about Ms. Keys:

- Alicia Keys graduated as valedictorian at the age of 16, from The Professional Performance Arts School of Manhattan
- She’s won 9 Grammies and now has her sights set on winning an Oscar
- She’s planning on releasing a book of her poetry, as well as a diary chronicling her childhood
- Her production company is named Krucial Keys
- Speaking of Krucial…she’s rumored to be exclusively dating Kerry ‘Krucial’ Brothers for the past couple years
- At 12 years old, she was the lead singer of a girl group called Yikes-EmBishion
- Has admitted that one of her deepest fantasies involves a little lovin’ on top of a piano (DAAAYUUUMMM)

Now that we’ve brushed up a bit on your Alicia IQ, keep your eyes peeled for future announcements on additional concert dates. She’ll be touring with Ne-Yo and Jordin Sparks and I’ve got my fingers crossed that she’ll make a pit stop here at Much HQ. Hey, I got your back - The minute I know, you’ll know.
