Amazon leaks new Lil Wayne album

Lil Wayne’s forthcoming album Rebirth has leaked.

Just days after it was bumped to a February 1st release date, 500 copies of Rebirth were accidentally shipped by Amazon to customers who pre-ordered it.

Universal Music manufactured one million copies of the CD, which were set to go on sale December 21st, however various reports are saying the label wasn’t ready to release it just yet.

Tuesday night, some of the lucky few who received a copy of the CD from Amazon hosted a “listening session” for the album live on the video streaming website, Ustream.

Rebirth is supposed to hit stores February 1st, eight days before Lil Wayne begins his year-long prison sentence. Interesting timing.
