This recap is late. Really late. Like, ‘Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart taking two years to admit they are dating’ late. My bad. Good news is that MuchMusic.com has all the episodes of ABDC online, all the time – so even if I’m late, the episodes aren’t! Yippee!
Don’t forget to check out our ABDC section of MuchMusic.com with blogs, photos, videos and crews right here!
Episode recap and juicy spoilers, after the jump!
Last week we went into the future with ABDC and watched the crews dance to Lady Gaga. Now we’re going back to the 1970s and Disco! Far out!
Blueprint Cru’s dance to La Freak included the funky guitar, two helicopter lifts and a merry go-round. Can we just give them the trophy and send everyone home? The judges were impressed by the clean execution of the choreography and complimented Nicholas on his afro wig. Get down!

Saltare literally started a ‘Disco Inferno’ and lit their skipping ropes on fire. I have officially retired from making fun of jump ropers. That’s badass. Lil Mama was less impressed than me and said that she wants to see the crew dance and perform more. JC said that he was impressed with parts of the routine but that the crew had to keep working.

Poreotixs was the next crew to be announced as safe from elimination. Their challenge was to dance to the Jackson 5 and for first time since the show started the crew broke out of their robotic style to dance part of the routine – and it worked! Omarion was happy to see the crew moving faster and using the stage. JC said that the crew has been gradually losing his interest over the last three weeks and this performance got him back. That noise you just heard was all the guys in Poreotixs saying ‘PHEW’!

Hype 5-0 performed to Shake Your Groove Thang and IMHO, gave their best performance yet. Omarion was impressed with the variety of elements the crew displayed in their routine.

Static Noyze, Jungle Boogie and Heavy Impact were the bottom three crews. As a result of last weeks voting error, no crews went home – meaning that this week, two crews were going to watch their banners drop! Dun Dun Dunnnnnnnnn!
Omarion told Heavy Impact that whatever happened on the show, the crew should be proud of how they represented themselves. Lil Mama loved the graceful lifts that Static Noyze incorporated into their performance and complimented the group on their great routine. JC said that Jungle Boogie’s routine (danced to the song Jungle Boogie – you so clever, ABDC!) was fun and well done and he admitted to being a fan of the crew throughout the season.

In the end, Jungle Boogie was the last crew to make it through to next week. No shocker there.

A few points:
• Y’all see my girl Gabourey Sidibe in the audience?! Yeah Gabby!
• ABDC – literally closing the door on one of the crew members of Heavy Impact as he took his final walk off the stage sucked! Not cool!
• Why were Poreotics the only crew not dressed in Disco attire?
• Omarion said that Saltare needs to get ‘in sync’. JC looked embarrassed. Once a boy bander, always a boy bander. Feel free to cry on your pillow of money.
