Amy Winehouse announces new album ‘date’

While attending the film premiere of Psychosis, directed by her boyfriend thank god it’s not Blake Reg Traviss, Amy Winehouse told Metro newspaper that fans can expect a new album from her within six months. Winehouse said that the new album will be similar to Back To Black, her Grammy-winning 2006 release.

Let’s keep in mind that this is Amy Winehouse talking, so we must take the announcement with a grain of salt…and maybe a slice of lime and a tequila shot. I’m still crossing my fingers. Hope for the best, expect an album in 2013.
