Andy Pops Into My Heart

We all know and love Andy Samberg from such videos as “Lazy Sunday” and “Dick In A Box”. But where’s the love for his other SNL digital shorts like “Roy Rules” and “Laser Cats” (1 and 2)? I know the love is out there, so lets pass it on. The guy’s a cutie. I like goof, and he’s goof embodied. So in honour of his appearance today on MOD, I now present to you an Andy Samberg digital short that I love - it’s simple, it’s got one gag, and a brief (yet hilarious) cameo from Wil Forte.

Horray! Only about an hour till hes at MuchMusic. I hope its not crowded and he comes outside to say hello. I wish Bill Hader was with him too though, and Jorma, they’re both in Hot Rod, why not.

My favorite digital short would have to be “Dear Sister”, and maybe a tie with that office meeting one staring Dwight Schrute from The Office!

Hey guys! Could someone PLEASE tell me when Andy will be on the show. Like I don’t have much time but I wanna see him from outside, so do you think he will be on the show right when it starts, or will he not come out till the last half hour? THANKS!!!

I totally dig Andy as well - but the girls over at gofugyourself.com make fun of his outfit and it’s pretty damn funny.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just missed him!!!!! Shoot. I showed up around 5:26 waited a bit then asked that Blond girl standing with the camera guy and the security guard if Andy came out yet, and they said yes. and probably left the building too.

Is that true? Has he seriously left the building? Any idea where he will be appearing next?….oh man i’m so bummed out, I couldn’t work all day cause I was thinking about it.

Sniff!! I’m so sorry Ellipses! First I was told he’d be on the show at 5:35 (an hour before the show started!) and now, I really have no idea if he’ll be around in T.O for long! :(..

Awwww, thanks anyway Wendy. I know it wasn’t your fault. That IS pretty last minute to suddenly change things especially on a television show, that was really too bad…I guess thats just how things work on a LIVE show.

Well I do hope you guys get more great guests like Andy (or Andy himself again) in the near future. More SNL cast members please! New York aint that far away, i’m sure those guys could spare the time to visit this wonderful city.

Actually, when Matthew Fox visited Much on a Monday he had just hosted SNL the Saturday before, and I told him he did a great job (which i thought he did) while I was getting his autograph, and he did seem to appreciate that statement.
