Another Beyonce single hits the webisphere

Beyonce has been in a very giving mood lately, releasing three singles from her upcoming album 4 before the record’s release date. The latest track is very much a throwback to Beyonce’s trademark power ballads like Halo, If I Were A Boy and Irreplaceable.

Written by singer/producer Babyface, Best Thing I Never Had is a song of perspective over the ending of a relationship. Sending a powerful message similar to Irreplaceable, Beyonce sings “There was a time I thought, that you did everything right / No lies, no wrong / Boy I, must’ve been outta my mind / So when I think of the time that I almost loved you / You showed you ass and I saw the real you.” To the left, to the left, y’all.
