Having won “Album of the Year” honours at both the Grammy and Juno Awards this year, Arcade Fire have decided to capitalize on their “who is Arcade Fire” fame and reissue last year’s The Suburbs.
According to BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe (via Pitchfork), the Montrealers will repackage the album to include two brand new songs, “Speaking in Tongues” and Culture War,” as well as the Spike Jonze-directed short film, Scenes From The Suburbs and a “making of” documentary.
The new deluxe edition of The Suburbs will be available on June 27th, however, Lowe says he will be playing the two new songs on May 23rd.
