Well hello there! If any of you out there peruse the MuchMusic blog frequently then you probably have no idea who I am.

I'm Lauren Toyota and I work for MuchMusic on the west coast. You'll see a side view of my face every so often on MuchNews or something, but if you want, start tuning in to Going Coastal on Sunday nights @ 11pm and there I am, on the beautiful beaches or mountains of Vancouver talking about cool stuff that's happening in my 'hood! I will start posting more things of that nature in my blogs, but since this is the first one I've ever done I have something else I want to bring up...

If you're a long time devotee of Going Coastal...hello to you. I like you. And if you watched this past Sunday you may have noticed some changes to the show. If you didn't, then you don't pay close enough attention! We're trying some new things and we've eliminated some other things, and we don't know how we're doing unless you tell us.

And since Paul Brothers (in Halifax) and I love our jobs so much we want to know if you think it sucks or if you like what you see. I got an email this morning from someone saying they liked the music they were seeing on the show. So that's awesome. But I want to know what more people think. Let us know... I mean really it's just an email and you're probably sending billions of them everyday...so send one to your favourite show on MuchMusic...no, not Girlicious...Going Coastal, silly! We'll actually read them!

Tune in this Sunday April 20 @ 11pm because a killer dude named Jason Rouse is on the show. He's a comedian. And we're playing some Protest the Hero....sweet!
