Hedley is amazing and i thought that vidio was hilarious.

I don't think it's fair for you to say that they're terrible because they "steal video ideas". Duran Duran was one of the BIGGEST names in the 1980's so for Hedley to even have the chance to re-create such an awesome video .. that's pretty cool! "Rio" is a video the guys of Hedley grew up watching so making this video on their own was probably one of the best times of their lives!

Don't put them down because of it.

I think it is cool that Hedley decided to re-create the Duran Duran video. It is a fun video and they put their own funny spin on it :-) Never too Late is an awesome song and Hedley once again has made an awesome video.

I LOVE Rio! In fact, I was just listening to Duran Duran the other day...the entire discography!

This video is perfect. They didn't steal the idea, they're just remaking it. They made it obvious that the video is a remake of Rio, so that's not stealing.
Good on the boys for doing this. I'm sure they had a blast making it!

Hedley is not the first band to remake a music video...lots of artists do it, but Hedley did such an AMAZING job at re-creating it frame for frame that it's more recognizable to everyone. Artists are doing covers of old songs all the time, so why should it matter if they remake music videos?

Just cuz they re-did a old video does not mean they stole. Artists do this all the time for other artists they respect or admire and because hedley was in the tropics and wanted to make a fun video to go along with a great song, good for them! it turned out great and its a great tribute to the original.

i'm pretty sure the guys from hedley didn't steal the video. their label i'm assuming wouldn't allow it. They probably had to get permission from duran duran's label to redo it. and in my humble opinion it is way better than the original and they have a great humour about the whole thing. it's one of my favourite videos from them.

well first off, these boys are amazing no matter what anyone has to say about them, if you want to come on here and be immature and say they're stealing people's video's, you're wrong on many parts, like steve said, these boys grew up watching duran duran, so them recreating the video is just them reliving their past, having fun doing it, they're the best band out there in my eyes, you guys should stop with all the bad remarks since i don't see you guys in any bands making it somewhere, and always remember: "If you don't like Hedley, that's too bad. Lots of other people do."

And, they didnt "steal" the video, they re-made it, they even said there selves that it was gonna be done identically, shot by shot. So if your gonna trash talk Hedley, you gotta find out all the other bands thats re-made vidoes too and try to trash talk them.. good luck with that haha.

Hedley is my favorite band in the whole world, they are awesome. I think they did an awesome job on their version of the video.. and like Kar said.. even if you do not like the video.. listen to they lyrics.. they speak for themselves.. ahhah i cannot tell you what they mean to me on here.. but yeah. I absolutely love that video! I think they did an amazing job on it. I agree with Kar and Jennifer, Just listen to the lyrics instead of bitching about it, and you'll see how amazing that song really is. so really back off, Hedley is incredible and if you cant see that then thats too bad for you .

Never Too Late is one of my favourite songs from the CD and the video is so much fun! It took a lot of effort to rework & redo the Rio video and they did a fantastic job. It puts me in such a good mood everytime I see it! I'm sure it will be nominated for next year's MMVAs!

If you're going to remake a great video from the 80s, at least have the decency not to ruin it by setting it to such a horrible song!!

And your point is??? ... Everyone knows they parodied the video, they have spoken about it loads of times, what's wrong with that? They wanted to bring something they thought was good to a younger, newer audience, I think that is great. I also don't see any logical thinking in your entire statement, it doesn't make any sense and frankly, it is just plain stupid. Clearly you have not made an incredible discovery as Hedley posted the exact same video on their website. Now, doesn't that show you are doing almost exactly what it is you are complaining about? You are copying an idea/ info that is already out there. Smooth, next time you post a blog, try making sense and not contradicting whatever the heck it is you are trying to say.

I love the video and song but if you don't like it then don't watch it and stop complaing about it
