Sam Roberts Sneak Peak!

Sam Roberts, the talented, usually-bearded and shaggy, get-a-haircut-and-get-a-real-job, Canadian singer/songwriter is finally back with new material - and according to his new video, it looks like he's cleaned up some. He's slicked and shaven and letting the girls in their poodle skirts jive along to his beats in this throw back to the old school. All in a 'Sims Family' type setting, of course.

No idea what I'm talking about? Then check out this sneak peak of his clever new video entitled Them Kids. The full thing should be arriving sometime next week.

Sam Roberts' new album, Love at the End of the World, hits stores May 20th.

Wow... a make over for Sam? Now that he looks a bit like Ray Davies of the Kinks, I'm reminded that he sounds a tad like Davies vocally.

You tube the kinks come dancing video and see what I mean. Perhaps Sam's look in this new video resemble Davies more than the overall sound but I stand by my initial comment.

@Frank: And Senester was just voicing his opinion on how he didn't agree with you. He wasn't 'chirping' you.

Thanks Ann but I didn't say he chirped me. I just figured he would now because I stand by my original comment which I believe to be quite accurate. Have you checked out the Kinks come dancing on you tube? Very similar looks between Davies and Sam (accept for the gap in Ray's two front teeth.)

I too look forward to Sam's new album. he's a quality act who always puts out solid material.
