Paris Hilton Does Rock Opera

Over a year ago, the futuristic film Repo! The Genetic Opera was shot in Toronto. A release date has finally been set for November 7, 2008. The film stars Sarah Brightman, Anthony Head, Paul Sorvino and... Paris Hilton with jet-black hair.
It is set in a dark future where organ failures are rampant and where one can even lease new organs and body parts through personal payment plans. But what happens when one gets behind on their payments...? The Repoman comes! Oh - did I mention this is a musical?
MTV has released a special clip from the sure-to-be grisly film which highlights (lowlights?) Paris Hilton. It's worth a watch (warning for the squimish: there are needles, scalpels and blood), but the movie itself definitely looks questionable at best. I think this will be one of those that you either love or hate.
But Paris Hilton...? What do we think of her singing/acting? I have to admit that she's more captivating than I thought she would be. Who knew?
