disBAND is looking for more groups to feature on the show! If that tickles your fancy bone (WHAT?!), read on...

Hopefully you've caught the new MuchMusic series disBAND, and watched bands who are used to practicing in dingy basements step it up and get the chance to perform at MuchMusic in front of screaming fans and a panel of music industry judges.
Each band gets its very own episode, which means 30 minutes of national TV exposure. They also get the chance to work one-on-one with the show's guru (Treblecharger's Greig Nori), possibly meet celebrity guests and mentors, and perform for a well-known booking agent and record label A&R. And yes, just like the MasterCard commercials, we think that's priceless.
disBAND is currently casting for future episodes. If you're in a band, or know a band who would be perfect for this show, please send over a MySpace page, photos and contact info to bands@muchmusic.com.
Please Note: At this time disBAND shoots in downtown Toronto, so bands must be available to travel to and from this location over the course of filming.

We're looking for duos, groups and bands with members between the ages of 16-25 years old who would love their 30 minutes of fame. The band can be rock, alternative, acoustic, pop, hip-hop, R&B, country, electronic, punk, metal, and everything in between.
And don't forget you can watch all the episodes and read blogs from past bands on the disBAND page.

Why settle for 15 minutes of fame when you can get 30?
~disBAND Team
We rule, we pull big to local shows. Have some tunes up on our myspace and we are currently recording new ones. In February we may go down to Buffalo to record with ex CUTE IS WHAT WE AIM FOR bass player Fred Cimato. Were not shitty like a lot of bands I have seen on DISBAND, so check us out I think you guys need a decent band on this show. Also we have had interest by Ill Scarletts manager Brad Rubens.
