Ashlee Simpson releases NSFW teaser video for new music

Ashlee Simpson has released a teaser video for her new single Bat For A Heart and shows that Jessica’s lil sister is all grown up. Dropping some major F bombs in the chorus, the first taste of music from Simpson in years, due out in full on November 21, features a voyeuristic type music video.

Shot in black and white, Simpson gyrates, writhes and shows off her ballet background in the video, sporting short blond hair and smeared black eyeliner. Sounding a bit like Lana Del Rey meets Natalia Kills, Simpson previously described her upcoming fourth album as having a ‘folksy’ feel, but that’s definitely not present on her debut single. Bat For A Heart is Simpson’s first piece of new material since her 2008 album Bittersweet World.
