Ashlee Simpson-Wentz drops the ‘Wentz’

Another day, another celebrity marriage is ovah. Jessica Simpson’s lil sis Ashlee has filed for divorce from her rocker-hubby of three years, Pete Wentz. After marring in May 2008, the couple gave birth to their first son, Bronx Mowgli.

Simpson is citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for their divorce and has requested joint-legal custody and primary physical custody of the couples son, as well as spousal support. Everything seemed to add up until the ‘spousal support.’ Ashlee has a pretty solid career on her own, so what the deal with asking for bank? Did a certain Fall Out Boy guitar player eff up or what?
