Avril Lavigne and her boyfriend Brody Jenner were injured in a fight on Saturday night at the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles. An unidentified woman attacked Lavigne, leaving the singer with a black eye, cuts, and bruises. While trying to break up the fight, Jenner was hit over the head with a bottle, later tweeting Interesting Saturday night… Just got of the hospital with a new scar on my face.. .

Hours later Lavigne also took to Twitter, sending out two messages, saying “I don’t fight. I don’t believe in it. To clear things up I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is f**ked.” Avril continued her statement on the fight, saying “As in black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts. So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer”

Perez Hilton has obtained an exclusive photo of Lavigne showing a cut on the singer’s eyelid, as well as a number of scratches on her face. Hilton is also reporting that the people involved in the fight fled the scene before police arrived. Let’s hope they catch these idiots.
