Avril Lavigne checks in from studio, shares clip from new song

Despite having strep throat(!) Avril Lavigne has made a video showing fans around the recording studio she’s currently holed up in.

Avril explains she, her producer Alex da Kid and her friend “Grizzly Bear” have been spending long nights in Henson Studios recording material for her upcoming album and takes us on a tour of the studio showing the live room and vocal booth among other things.

She also gets her producer to play a very short clip from a song they’ve been working on. To be honest, you can’t really make out the song but it is exciting to know she’s working on new material!
