Aw Jar Jar, can’t say I blame you for getting that t-shirt. I’m hankering for a mug. It has a “large handle for easy grasping”!

Thinking about aging lately (how depressing). The last 10 years have gone by so quickly. Maybe it would be a good idea to do this. Or better: Take those photos, then create an film out of them….Creepy and cool at the same time.

Speaking of films, for those Rushmore fanatics (and I know there are many of you out there) check out Eric Chase Anderson’s site (Wes Anderson’s younger brother). He did some illustrations for Rushmore and The Royal Tenebaums, and there are lots of amusing drawings to pour over. And if you’re into Jason Schwartzman, check out Spun, his latest. It’s a radically different view of Jason, kind of Requiem For A Dream meets Trainspotting meets Natural Born Killers.

Picked up a couple phenomenal new cds, Miss Kittin’s new dj mix and the Morvern Callar soundtrack (done by Warp Records). And the coolest music news I’ve heard lately is Radiohead’s culture-jamming campaign to market their new cd. They put up posters all over the city advertising a fake “American Idol” type show, looking for interested victims to take part. They are also supposed to be launching radiohead.tv, but there’s nothing there at the moment.

Don’t forget to wish Homer Simpson a happy birthday Saturday (or maybe Monday, depending which episode you choose to believe). Either way, raise a Duff, Homer!
