Awkward. Ep. 10: Pick Me, Choose Me, Love Me

This past week’s Awkward. was a departure from the full-funny and went into the full-feelings mode as Jenna is still reeling from the aftermath of sharing her entire blog for the whole world to see (and read and decipher like Jenna was a long lost Kardashian) and it has consequences she wasn’t prepared for. Jenna catches her parents in a moment of being together which confused Jenna completely. Looks like they might be getting back together?

While being dropped off at school, Jenna reveals to her mother that her blog (and everything that has happened since the care-frontation letter) has been made public. This means that everyone knows that Lacey had a moment of being a not-so-perfect mother and is made into a pariah.

Oddly enough this has reversed Jenna’s outcast label and now people are coming to her for advice.

And as a side note? Sadie spends her day at school trying to figure out if the blemish on her lip is a cold sore or a pimple. Ah, the age-old question of cold sore versus pimple…

Matty and Jake try to re-negotiate their friendship and they come up with the perfect solution: make Jenna choose.

Even the cool girls in school are clamouring for Jenna’s insights. Could she finally be… cool?

Jake and Matty come to Jenna with their proposal: pick one of us.

At home, Jenna’s decision is put on hold when she talks to her father. She realizes just how much her mother actually loves her.

And so Jenna decides to pick the most important one in her life: her mom.

Awkward. returns on Thursday, September 13 because this Thursday a party is gonna go down for the 2012 MTV VMAs hosted by Kevin Hart! Be sure to catch that Thursday, September 6 at 8pm ET/5pm PT on MuchMusic.
