Awkward Ep. 2: Round two!

Jenna gets rid of her arms and some more of her clothing when Sadie takes revenge for no reason at all. Find out what happened on Episode 2 of Awkward. under the jump!

D-day has arrived. It’s finally time for Jenna to have her cast removed and while she’s ecstatic, her mom and Ming and Tamara are convinced she’s going to have some weird baby arm under the plaster. Still, Jenna is excited, until she catches a glimpse of the drill being used to removed her cast. Then she passes out, dislocates her shoulder and gets a whole new embarrassing arm sling. Um, it’s still an improvement?

At school the next day Jenna has thankfully gotten herself a sleek and sexy (k, maybe not) arm sling. It still doesn’t stop Sadie from being a total ass to her in front of Ming and Tamara. Why don’t any of them sass her back?

Jenna sees Matty and Jake hanging out and it turns out that they’re best friends. Damn, her life is awkward. Jake tells Matty to invite his mystery girl from camp (Jenna) to the concert with Jake and Lissie, but Matty still won’t budge on revealing Jenna’s identity.

Sadie walks by and Jenna yells to her, trying to get her attention that her skirt is tucked into her undies. Instead, Jenna draws the entire schools attention, again giving Sadie more to hate about her. Sadie decides to stir the pot by telling Lissie that Jenna is trying to get with Jake.

To get back at Jenna, the girls take a naked picture of her while Jenna is changing for gym class and then email the ENTIRE SCHOOL. Y’all need to be in jail.

Jenna is oblivious that her assets are out in the world for everyone to see and during her meeting with guidance counselor Valerie, she tells her that things are looking up.

That is until Jenna walks into the hall and sees Matty making fun of a poster of the picture. Suicide watch back on.

Jenna is hoping to get support from her friends, but that doesn’t work out either.

On the worst day in the history of worst days, Jenna’s mother has forgotten to pick her up. Much to the dismay of Lissie, Jake offers Jenna a ride home. Jake tells Jenna that she should find out who posted the picture and get them expelled. Lissie, terrified Jake will find out she’s behind the picture, tries to change the subject.

Jenna comes home to a sympathetic mom who has the solution to the problem of the day – a boob job!

Jenna says no and decides that she needs to listen to her ass-kicking letter and stand out. So the next day at school she flashes a group of students! Wait, how is that helpful?

Valerie calls Jenna and Sadie into the office and Sadie admits to taking the picture. She doesn’t apologize and doesn’t feel bad. WTF? Jenna points out that what Sadie did is illegal, but Sadie scares Valerie and nothing happens. This is annoying me.

That night Jenna posts her status as ‘looking for a hero to rescue her.’

This seems to grab Matty’s attention. But he’s not too bright and I don’t expect much. Jenna’s dad comes into her room and tells her to ignore her mother and that things will get better. Well, at least she has one sane parent. Who’s also hot. So that’s good.

Tamara calls Jenna and Jenna finally comes clean about having sex with Matty…just as he knocks on her window. Round Two? He took down all the photos of Jenna around school. He apologizes for what he said and tells Jenna that he wasn’t making fun of her, but was just trying to get people’s attention away from her. Round Two is so on!
