If you’ve been a watcher of Awkward., then you probably have a position on the Team Matty or Team Jake debate. What’s a girl to do? If you’re Team Matty then you know how much Jenna loved him and how much Matty now loves her. If you’re on Team Jake, you know just how far he’s willing to go for a girl he didn’t feel the need to hide.

In any case, it seems that Jenna is stuck between these two best friends and a hard place and it won’t get any better until it all comes to an Awkward. climax – or at least that’s what Beau Mirchoff says in this interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “The love triangle [between Jenna, Matty and Jake] comes to a head,” Beau clued in THR on the direction of the current season, “It just keeps getting heightened … so fans have a lot in store”. Ashley Rickards also added in, “Team Matty or Team Jake, it doesn’t matter… Things are going to go down for both you guys.”
