Azealia Banks confirms Lady Gaga collab

We reported Tweets exchanged between up-and-coming rapper Azealia Banks and pop star Lady Gaga recently, but Banks has finally confirmed that the two have indeed collaborated on a track.

In an interview, Banks says that she and Mother Monster went into the studio and recorded a song together, but she admits that she’s not sure if it will make it onto Gaga’s new album, ARTPOP.

“Yeah, I worked on a song for her,” Banks says. “I don’t know if it will make her record. I hope it will make her record, but we’ll wait and see.”

Banks also denies rumours that she has worked with Rihanna, but adds that she’d definitely be interested.

“No, I haven’t done a record for Rihanna. I’d like to, but I haven’t.”
