Unfortunately for Azealia Banks fans across the pond, she has cancelled many dates off her European summer festival run. The reason why she had to cut so many dates off the tour was explained on her Twitter as she tweeted, “They were all prematurely booked by my old management without any consideration for me and the album I need to finish!” Banks will still perform at the Reading and Leeds Festivals as well as BBC Radio 1′s Hackney Weekend. Azealia is set to release Broke With Expensive Taste, her debut LP in September with her new manager Troy Carter, whom we’ve told you is also Lady Gaga’s manager.
Before Broke With Expensive Taste comes out though, fans will have her EP, 1991 to look forward to. However, 1991‘s release date was pushed back because of the change up in management and because they wanted to spend more time making a quality album. But if you’re jonesing for some new Azealia Banks in the mean time, check out her remix track with Lana Del Rey here or check out her track, Runnin’ with Lunice below.
What do you think? Can fans wait any longer for more material from Azealia? Sound off in the comment section below.
