Last night I went down to Back to the Underground’s Canadian Regional B-Boy elimination, with 14 crews battling it out for a chance to represent Canada at the World B-Boy Championships in Seoul and Beijing.

From my vantage point up on stage, I could really see why some people call b-boying a “martial art” - the battles are intense displays of strategy, creativity, crew dynamics and highly technical execution. The semi-finals flew by, and at the end of the night it was Toronto’s Supernaturalz crew (who performed on MOD just last week) who walked away with title of “Team Canada”!
