The band name Bear Mountain often conjures up images of nature and wilderness and the Vancouver indie-rockers live up to those scenic thoughts on their latest music video for Congo. The uplifting anthem, led by lead singer Ian Bevis’ soaring vocals, is taken to brand new heights as the four members trek through the B.C. mountains. The results are breathtaking and outlined by further sleek production.
This is what the band has to say about the special, year-long shoot: “Taking place on a journey through the Canadian wilderness, Congo follows the adventure of 4 people as they ascend from the deep river valleys, to the high mountain alpine of the west coast of British Columbia. Filmed over one year through the rugged and beautiful terrain of B.C., the official video for Bear Mountain’s ‘Congo’ blends beautiful imagery with detailed animations, creating a landscape that is both stunning and imaginative.”
