Because the world needs more holograms: TLC to bring back Lisa ‘Left-Eye’ Lopes

It ain’t a TLC reunion until we have all three members — including a hologram of the late Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopes, who died in a car crash in 2002.

The girl group are looking to tour with the hologram version of Lopes in the near future. Singer Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas tells Metro, “The hologram is something we talked about and thought about years ago, obviously timing is everything but we’re definitely talking about it.”

Thomas admits that the experience would be “spooky”, but she thinks that fans will like it.

“I think we would probably pass out and all of our fans would break down but it’s amazing how real the hologram looks,” she says. “It’s almost like you can touch the person.”
