Bedouin Soundclash: Crashing The MMVAs

The first time we were supposed to come to the MMVAs, we missed them. See, we were playing a show in Detroit and we got back just in time for them to be over! So we just went to some of the parties afterwards .. our friends in Alexisonfire had won an award and we were celebrating with them. But I’m looking forward to this year cause even though I grew up here, I’ve never been to the MMVAs. It’s a pretty big scene, shutting down the streets and everything.

We’re doing this after party too [MMVA Aftermath - see below] … we’ll be bringing out some of our friends, laying back and having fun. We’ll be performing but it’ll feel less like a usual performance cause it’s more loose. We’ll play some of our own stuff, but a lot of covers, mostly.

I just wanna know what songs you’d like us to cover, if you could hear us play anything? Who would you like to see us play with? I can’t guarantee it would happen but I’m interested to hear what you have to say!

The group jams with fellow Canadian members of Alexisonfire, The Saint Alvia Cartel, and The Arkells, covering classic punk, ska and rock tracks, as well as playing a few Bedouin originals.
