- Beyonce’s spot as the headliner for this past weekend’s Glastonbury festival marked the first time in 20 years that a female artist has headlined the event. Click here to see how ridiculously hard Bey p’wned the festival.
- An American DJ named Orrin Lynn Tolliver Jr has been awarded $1.2 million in damages from The Black Eyed Peas for their improper sample of his 1983 song I Need A Freak in their song My Humps. I feel like both artists should be forced to pay the public something for releasing songs with those titles.
- Chris Brown was the big winner at last night’s BET Awards, taking home three awards. Well, four, if you count Most Awkward Moment when BET announced Brown, then Rihanna, then Drake, and back to Brown for the Viewer’s Choice Award.
- Angels and Airwaves frontman Tom DeLonge has announced that their upcoming album Love 2 will be the bands best. This is quite the downgrade in bravado and quite the upgrade in reality from the bands last album, which DeLonge claimed to be the ‘best album of all time’.
