Best and worst dressed of the Grammys

Last night’s Grammys certainly didn’t disappoint on the fashion front! The music industry royalty turned out some amazing fashion – but also some major bombs. Here are my picks for best and worst dressed.

BEST

Katy Perry
My girl Katy worked it out last night on the red carpet. Her Zac Posen dress is gorgeous – I absolutely adore long-sleeved dresses. The gold print and slinkyness of the dress create the perfect amount of sexy without revealing too much skin. The only thing I’m not sure of is that bizarre glitter clutch she’s holding. Is that a parrot?

Beyoncé looked stunning on the red carpet last night. Her flesh-toned Stephane Rolland gown hugged her curves perfectly, and the bold shoulder and subtle detailing made her totally fashion forward. This girl knows her fashion!

Rihanna never disappoints! Like Beyoncé, Riri found the perfect balance between form-fitting and fashion-forward. Her white Elie Saab dress features angular hip detail and an amazing feather-floral detail reaching all the way up to her neckline. On anyone else this dress could totally be a disaster – but Riri knows her stuff. She looked amazing!

WORST

Alright, so I know she wasn’t as bad as some people but I thought Kristen Bell looked completely boring and sloppy on the red carpet! My pet peeve when it comes to awards show fashion is boring dresses, and Miss Kristen looked totally drab. Everything from the messy hair to the saggy dress looked crap. And someone needs to teach her how to accessorize. Even her new engagement ring wasn’t nearly bling enough.

Imogen Heap is kind of an easy target, but she looked especially bad last night. I’m not sure I understand what event she thought she was going to – a picnic in the rain? A medieval boat ride? I just don’t get it.

Oh, Snooki. Sadly this is the best I think Snooki has ever looked. She ditched the pouf and didn’t look too orange but she still looked awful. This is the Grammys not the Adult Video Awards! She looks like a stripper. Doesn’t Snooki know the age-old fashion rule? If you take your boobs out put your legs away (and vice versa). There is such a thing as showing too much skin.
