This summer we were lucky enough to score Selena Gomez as the host of the 2011 MMVAs! It’s been the year of Gomez, from releasing a new album, hosting a number of award shows, dating some famous guy (Justin Bieber – heard of him?) and starring in Monte Carlo alongside Leighton Meester and Cory Montheith.

We sat down with Gomez during the MMVAs for one of her only interviews while in Toronto to find out what it was like to shoot alongside a castmember of Glee, learn to horseback ride and try to master an English accent. We even stopped ourselves from asking any Justin Bieber questions. Let me tell you – that was no easy task.
